The way to watch Amazon content is through your iOS or Android mobile devices. You may watch on the web but will still need a mobile device to initial the stream. For other devices, you may notice you get error 191 (or 102), meaning we're permanently transitioning away from that app.
Our new mobile apps have addressed this issue. If you use the mobile app, the connection will be more stable and these errors will be less frequent.
Our movie servers are all around the country, including Oregon, Virginia, and other places. When you connect your Netflix to VidAngel, Netflix may see that your account is being accessed in another state. This can flag your account and then de-activate your password. You should be getting an email from them every time this happens.
1) Change your Netlfix password. We know this is a pain, so we suggest switching between two passwords (if you have the problem more than once), to make this easier for you. If possible, we also suggest changing your Netflix password on the same device you're using to watch with VidAngel.
2) Keep trying! Some customers have reported waiting a little while and when they return it connects. Others say they tried over and over again until it eventually connected. Also try connecting during low traffic times.
3) Try on another device. If you're using the web we usually recommend Chrome.
The apps need to be completely restarted to get rid of the old connection data. That means logging out, rebooting the device and even possibly unplugging it from power to clear the cache.
