Using your mobile VidAngel app, you can now cast VidAngel filters to your TV if you have a Roku, Chromecast, Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, or a Samsung Smart TV (for Android devices only).
Currently, the new VidAngel mobile app is available on iOS and Android devices. Using the mobile app, you can cast to your favorite supported casting device, all while still having full access to your phone!
First, make sure you have the new updated version of our app on your mobile device. You can check for any app updates in your device App Store.
You can get the VidAngel app on iOS and Android mobile devices.

Next, check that your phone is on the same WIFI network as the device you are casting to. This step is important! The devices cannot see each other if they are not on the exact same wifi network. Dual-Band routers offer a 2.4G and a 5G network. Make sure both devices are on the same one.
The next step is to search for the movie/show you would like to watch. When you find something you would like to watch, set your filters and then tap on the Watch With Amazon (or Netflix) button.
The movie/show will then verify the title.
Once the movie/show is done verifying, you are ready to watch. Tap on Watch Now to watch it on your device OR tap the Send to TV button. This will open the casting tab to allow you to decide which device you would like to cast to.
Select the device icon for the device you want to use.
In the drop-down list, tap on the device you would like to use, and once connected you will be able to start it on your TV.
Press the play button in your app. After the movie starts on your TV, you will be able to control the movie using your phone, OR, use the device's remote to control your movie. Using the device remote control will give you full access to your phone.
If you want to disconnect from the movie you can easily do this by tapping on Disconnect.
